On The Water’s Outdoor Adventures joins the NorthCoast family, to test their new 255 Cabin, and see what they can catch in early fall. Joe DaPonte immigrated to America in 1972, bringing with him a passion for boat building. He realized him dream of owning his own boat building company in 1998. More than two decades later, NorthCoast Boats remains a family business, with Joe's sons, Cesar and Craig, carrying on the DaPonte's boat-building tradition. 2019 NORTHCOAST BOATS ANNOUNCEs YAMAHA OEM status- green light!

NorthCoast Boats are now available with YAMAHA outboards. The decision to become an OEM was a simple one. Many of our Dealers, some of which are YAMAHA authorized Dealerships and new boat buyers, along with new Dealer prospects around the country, made it clear they wanted the number one Outboard brand to compliment the exciting new 2020 NorthCoast model line up. Many of our existing Dealers are able to sell multiple brands of outboards- but buyers are opinionated and know what they want. We build boats first and foremost. We are very excited about the future and want to welcome YAMAHA aboard.

“Factory tests powered by a pair of Honda 250 V6 four-strokes indicate that this 24-degree aft deadrise hull is no slouch, and will reach a top speed of 54.5 mph at wide open throttle—that’s moving for a big girl! Dialing it down to a more realistic four-grand cruising speed, she’ll turn 32.5 mph at only 18.2 gph for a net of 1.79 mpg.”- JOHN RAGUSO The Fisherman
